(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka team secured the bronze medal in the Women’s 4x400m relay event at the 2023 Asian Games being held in Hangzhou, China.
The four Sri Lankan sprinters clocked a time of 3:30:88 minutes, setting a new national record in the event.
Meanwhile, Sri Lankan men’s quartet also won Bronze in the men’s 4x400m relay at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou this evening.
While clocking a timing of 3:02.55 minutes, the Sri Lanka men’s team also set a new Sri Lanka record in the 4x400m relay event.
