(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – There was a certain group behind the tragic defeat of the Sri Lankan cricket team, and it was their conspiratorial plan, Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee Chairman Pramodya Wickramasinghe said.
They are trying to take control of Sri Lankan cricket, and Wickramasinghe said all the facts about this will be announced through the public media in two days.
The Sri Lankan cricket team arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning (05.05 a.m.) from Bangalore, India on SriLankan Airlines flight UL-174.
Several officials of Sri Lanka Cricket were present at the Katunayake Airport arrivals terminal to welcome them.
All the players, coaches, physiotherapists and officials of the Sri Lankan cricket team came to the airport.
Although a public bus was arranged for them to leave the airport, many players left for their homes in their private vehicles.
More security personnel were deployed at and around the airport for them.
