(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – A cash donation of 4 million rupees for the renovations of Deegawapiya Stupa was handed over on 17th Nov to Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne who is the ‘Author of the Deeghawapi Aruna Trust’ and ‘First Trustee’. Ms. Chandra Silva made the donation at the Ministry of Defence located at Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte.
Ms. Silva had donated 2 million rupees previously in March 2022 for the renovations of Deegawapiya Stupa.
Mr. Janaka Silva and Ms. Manojika de Silva were also present at the occasion.
