(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – All arrangements have been made to hold the second public rally in the series of public rallies jointly organized by the New Alliance led by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party on June 29 at 2.00 p.m. in the Wellawaya city center in Moneragala district. This public rally will be held under the theme of “Victory for the Country – Together for the Future”.
Wellawaya public rally is organized by State Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion Mr. Jagath Pushpakumara.
The new alliance program has been strengthened with the initiation of the new alliance in conjunction with the Sri Lanka Freedom Party. Other parties, led by the new alliance, are working to build a massive alliance with the participation of the largest number of MPs representing the parliament. Mr. Nimal Lanza said that various political parties, trade unions and many civil organizations are ready to gather around the new alliance.
Members of Parliament supporting the new alliance including Mr. Nimal Siripala de Silva, Mahinda Amaraweera, Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Duminda Dissanayake, Jagath Pushpakumara, Susil Premjayantha, Nalin Fernando, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Nimal Lanza, Priyankara Jayaratne, many former members of parliament, provincial council members, local council members, trade union representatives and civil society activists are scheduled to be participated in this rally.
