Sirisena pays Rs. 58M of Rs. 100M fine for Easter Sunday bombings

(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – Lawyers for former President Maithripala Sirisena informed the Supreme Court that he has paid Rs. 58 million of the Rs. 100 million fine imposed on him for failing to prevent the Easter Sunday bomb attacks.
