(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – Professor Pujitha Wickramasinghe, Senior Professor in Paediatrics at the University of Colombo and Honorary Consultant Paediatrician at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, has been awarded the Outstanding Asia Paediatrician Award by the Asia Pacific Paediatric Association (APPA) at the 18th Asia Pacific Conference of Paediatrics, held in Cebu, Philippines, recently (Nov 16).
“It is an incredible honour to receive this award, and I am deeply grateful for the recognition,” Professor Wickramasinghe said. “This achievement reflects not just my efforts, but the mentoring I received from my teachers, hard work and collaboration of my colleagues and the support of my institution and family.”
