Nimal Siripala de Silva gave instructions to the relevant officials yesterday (20), in Parliament, to expand the operations of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority and other institutions under the ministry to increase efficiency.

PMD clarifies the false information published in relation to the President’s visit to the UK

(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – President’s Media Division (PMD) has issued a statement clarifying the false information published in relation to the President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s visit to the UK to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II as it has been observed that some members of Parliament and social media are trying to mislead the public by spreading false information regarding the delegation represented Sri Lanka in the funeral ceremony.
