President’s Fund Announces May Payments for Scholarships

(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The President’s Fund is in the final stages of providing scholarships to 6,000 economically disadvantaged students who passed the GCE Ordinary Level Examination in 2022/2023. Payments for outstanding instalments from March and April 2024 will be paid together with the May payment.

President to appoint committee to safeguard traditional Kandyan dance

GOSL Contributes One Million USD to Gaza Children’s Fund

(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The Government of Sri Lanka donated USD 01 million to assist children impacted by the conflicts in the Gaza Strip. The donation was formally transferred to the Government of Palestine through the United Nations’ official channel, overseen by President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (01).
