(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Sri Lanka condemned the Las Vegas shooting and called for action to prevent similar incidents in future.
President Maithripala Sirisena said that collective action against the menace is essential.
“Dastardly attack in #LasVegas killing more than 50 is shocking. Condemnation and collective action against this menace is essential,” the President tweeted.
Meanwhile, Sri Lankan officials in the US said that there were no reports of Sri Lankans being among the dead or injured.
