(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Sri Lankan origin Malaysia’s top diplomat, Ambassador Ananda Kumaraseri presented the first copy of his latest book, Symbols & Symbolism: Embrace Multiculturalism’ to President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidents House in Colombo.
The book was presented during the reception hosted by the President to the foreign delegates attending the 7th Buddhist Summit in Colombo.
Sri Lankan origin, Kumaraseri joined the Malaysian foreign service 30 years ago and served as a distinguished ambassador to several countries. Malaysia honoured him with the title ‘Dato’.
Dr. G.K. Ananda Kumaraseri is a career ambassador of over 30 years standing. He retired in 1995 as Director General ASEAN. Since then he has authored several notable books on such important subjects as the cultivation of human values, personal development, holistic education, the sacredness of motherhood, mothercare, holistic parenting, childcare and development and peace. He is a much sought after Dhamma Speaker in Malaysia, Thailand and several other countries.
