(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando has been admitted to the ICU of the Colombo National Hospital due to a heart attack early this morning.
Meanwhile, IGP Pujith Jayasundara has also been admitted to the Police Hospital, Narahenpita.
Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said, that the Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando were called before the Criminal Investigation Department this morning.
