(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday said the government will seriously look into the alleged incident involving a local staffer of Switzerland embassy in Colombo.
He said that he discussed about this incident with acting IGP and the CID’s Deputy Inspector General. The Prime Minister was addressing the media at a ceremony in Battaramulla yesterday.
The Prime Minister when inquired about the incident by media persons said he has called for a comprehensive report on this alleged incident by scrutinizing CCTV footage in the vicinity. “I had a discussion with the ambassador and embassy officials in this regard,”he said.
Prime Minister Rajapaksa said he had issued instructions to conduct a thorough investigation even without a complaint.
