(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) – Sri Lanka hit a record high number of confirmed daily coronavirus cases Wednesday, recording more than 3,000 new cases, according to the data reported by the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry.
According the Epidemiology Unit report at 6:40 pm Wednesday, 3,051 new cases have been confirmed and the total of infected rose to 150,771.
A total of 27,289 patients are currently under medical care while 122,367 have recovered from the disease since the pandemic began.
