(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –Sri Lanka reported that 71 deaths due to COVID-19 occurred on Monday, June 21, 2021.
The Director General of Health Services Monday confirmed that 71 deaths occurred on Monday 21 June due to the pandemic.
Among the Monday’s dead are 38 females and 33 males. The majority of the deaths numbering 57 are of the people in the over 60 years of age group.
According to the data reported by the Government Information Department, the total deaths due to Covid-19 Since the pandemic began last March has now risen to 2,704 including the deaths confirmed Monday.
