(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Public Services, Provincial Councils and Local Government has issued a circular revising the salaries in public service to eliminate the teacher-principal salary anomaly.
The relevant circular issued to Secretaries to Ministries, Secretaries to State Ministries, Chief Secretaries of Provinces and Heads of Department and has been approved by the National Pay Commission and the Ministry of Finance.
Salary revision will be made on the step to step basis and the provisions will be effective from 01 January 2022.
