(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka Sunday reported 15 deaths due to COVID-19 after the figures were confirmed by the Director General of Health Services on Saturday, January 22.
Among the deaths reported today, are 09 males and 06 females. While 09 deaths are of elderly people in the 60 years and above age group, a male in the below 30 years age group has also succumbed to the disease.
According to the data reported by the Ministry of Health, the total deaths due to Covid-19 since the pandemic began last year has now risen to 15,299.
