(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The Criminal Investigation Department of Sri Lanka Police has reportedly started an investigation regarding a conspiracy to assassinate President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Information has been reported to the Criminal Investigation Department that a few days ago a group belonging to a political party in Sri Lanka held a discussion in a foreign country hatching an assassination plot.
Accordingly, the Criminal Investigation Department will start investigations into the activists of the said political party involved in this incident.
