In a remarkable triumph, showcasing its unwavering commitment to quality and excellence, the company clinched the coveted national-levelGold Award at the prestigious National Industry Excellence Awards 2023.
This esteemed accolade was presented to SMR Consolidated during the National Industry Awards Ceremony conducted by the Industrial Development Board (IDB), held on the 01st November at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre Colombo. The award was graciously accepted on behalf of the company by Thishan KarunasenaManaging Director at SMR Consolidated.

The National Industry Excellence Awards is an island-wide competition to select the best entrepreneurs in the Micro, Small- and Large-Scale local industries, across a wide range of sectors. The programme is conducted by the Industrial Development Board of Sri Lanka, the awards are bestowed after a rigorous and thorough assessment of applications by an impartial panel of judges, in accordance with strict evaluation criteria covering a range of metrics.
SMR Consolidated’s unwavering dedication to quality has also earned the company prestigious food safety and quality certifications, including BRC, FSSC 22000, ISO, SEDEX, SMETA, FAIRTRADE Organic, and Kosher, among others.
