SL to set up High Commission in Wellington

(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – The Sri Lankan government has decided to establish a High Commission in New Zealand’s Wellington and cabinet approval was granted yesterday (Jan. 01).

The proposal was submitted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry with the intention of further bolstering diplomatic relationships between the two countries.

Currently, Sri Lanka only has a Consulate in Wellington.
