Reuben Gauci, High Commissioner of Malta to Sri Lanka based in New Delhi, paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, at the Prime Minister’s Office in Colombo. This meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to deepening bilateral relations as they approach the 25th anniversary of their diplomatic partnership in 2025.

Moody’s raises Sri Lanka’s rating after debt overhaul approval

(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) –  Credit ratings agency Moody’s on Monday raised Sri Lanka’s long-term foreign currency issuer rating to ‘Caa1’ from ‘Ca’ with a stable outlook, after the country’s creditors approved a $12.55 billion debt overhaul last week.

Sri Lanka’s candidate elected to UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Evaluation Body
