India shows keen interest in Sri Lanka’s development projects

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –India has agreed to increase its investment in the development oriented projects in Sri Lanka.Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj made these remarks during bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on the sidelines of the two-day Indian Ocean Conference 2018, at the Sheraton Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam yesterday.Minister Swaraj further said that India is keen to extend further assistance to develop the housing, ports and airports sectors in Sri Lanka.

(COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –President of the Indian National Congress Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday (22) said he and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were not happy after the terror group, Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Organisation’s Chief Prabhakaran, who ordered the assassination of his father Rajiv Gandhi, was killed, as they felt “The violence inflicted upon him had impacted others, including his children.”
