A Positive impact on Sri Lanka’s debt restructuring will enhance confidence after the second IMF tranche

Shehan Semasinghe mentioned that the confidence will be enhanced on Sri Lankan after receiving the second tranche of the International Monetary Fund’s extended fund facility and will have a positive impact on the country’s debt restructuring program.

Kidney disease, disabled and low-income elderly allowances to nearly 650,000 people remain unchanged

(LANKAPUVATH | COLOMBO) – Until a new payment system is prepared, the allowances for kidney patients, disabled and low-income elderly persons under the Aswesuma welfare benefit program will remain unchanged, State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe assured.
